The optical horizontal focusing range is 4 inches to infinity using the smooth barrel adjustment of the telemicroscope.  The M533HG telemicroscope equipped with a compact CCD camera outputs a high resolution image to a 9 inch black and white monitor.  A digital crosshair generator makes available 7 reticle patterns: single crosshair, fixed in center crosshair,  dual crosshair, box, single crosshair with 2 sizeable circles, 2 sizeable squares, and arrow pointer.

The vertical measuring range for model M911DHG24 is 24" (600mm) with a resolution of 0.0005" (0.01 mm).  The model M911DHG40 has a 40" (1000 mm) measuring range and a resolution of 0.0005" (0.01 mm).
Electronic functions include on/off, inch/metric with origin, zero, ABS, data/hold, output to PC via push-button using Mitutoyo Digimatic Height Gage.
